Tree Planting: Bonita Park

Help needed to plant hundreds of native trees and shrubs at the popular Bonita Park! This park borders Fanno Creek, and this planting will be focused on increasing the number of native plants along the creek while we green this wonderful public park!

Please arrive by 8:45am to sign-in and enjoy some breakfast treats and coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. The planting starts at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools, and planting guidance -- all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather wearing sturdy shoes or boots, and be ready to have fun!

Under age 18?

A signed youth waiver is required for you to volunteer: www.friendsoftrees.org/youthwaiver

We ask that youth 15 years and younger are accompanied by an adult.

This planting is in partnership with the City of Hillsboro and part of Tree For All, a partnership which has planted more than ten million native plants in the Tualatin River Watershed since 2005. Clean Water Services, Friends of Trees, thousands of volunteers, other non-profits, city partners, and private landowners will be working together this season to continue the success of this program.
