Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge Planting

Friends of Trees is excited to be planting at the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge - please sign-up for this event to make an impact planting hundreds of native trees and shrubs and making a difference at this important wildlife refuge!

Due to limited space, there will be no volunteer event parking available at the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge - The address provided is for the designated parking location. Please arrive by 8:30 am to give you enough time to take the free shuttle ride to the planting area. The planting will start promptly at 9:00am. We provide breakfast snacks and hot chocolate/coffe​e, as well as gloves, tools, and guidance. Please come dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy, closed-toe shoes and get ready to have fun!

Under age 18? 

A signed youth waiver is required for youth to volunteer: www.​friendsoftrees.​org/youthwaiver​ We ask that youth 15 years and younger are accompanied by an adult.

Our partners at this planting include Friends of the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, and Clean Water Services. This planting is part of Tree For All, a partnership that has planted more than ten million native plants in the Tualatin River Watershed since 2005! Clean Water Services, Friends of Trees, thousands of volunteers, other non-profits, city partners, and private landowners will be working together this season to continue the success of this program. ~
