CANCELED - Columbia Slough Natural Area Planting

  • 11058 Northeast Simpson Street Portland, OR, 97220 United States (map)

Due to Portland Parks & Recreation's recent regulations re: limiting the number of people in groups on their properties, this event is now cancelled.  FOT is grateful to partner with PP&R and glad to support this decision to limit the potential impacts of the Coronavirus.  We apologize for this inconvenience and ask for your understanding as we try to do what's best for our community's health.

Hundreds of native trees and shrubs are slated to be planted at this 2 acre parcel of natural area in NE Portland.  This goal can only be achieved with the support of folks like you -- can you pitch in to make this community event a success?

Please arrive by 8:45am to sign-in and enjoy some breakfast treats and coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. The planting starts at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools, and planting guidance -- all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather wearing sturdy shoes or boots, and be ready to have fun!
